McDonald’s Burnie International players to make guest appearance for fans
Tennis fever is about to hit Burnie.
The McDonald’s Burnie International starts this Saturday. To help celebrate this terrific competition, some of the world’s most up and coming tennis players will make a guest appearance at McDonald’s in Burnie.
Burnie Sports and Events have today confirmed that Tennis Australia have once again agreed to make players available to meet with tennis lovers, sign posters, serve in the restaurant and hand out some McDonald’s giveaways.
BSE Sponsorship Manager Martyn Fishwick said, “This opportunity to meet with the players was a huge success last year. The players will be at McDonald’s Burnie from 11am until 12 Noon on Thursday 2 February and we encourage tennis followers of all ages to get up close and personal with some of the world’s most exciting tennis players.
“The McDonalds Burnie International is sure to attract great crowds each day starting this Saturday 28 January and concluding with the finals on Saturday 4 February. Special twilight sessions are planned, commencing at 4:30pm with every night sure to provide a great sporting spectacle in our own back yard!”
